JOSHUA FEAST
On December 9, 2020, I received the most heartbreaking phone call of my life. My son, Joshua Feast, was shot and killed by La Marque, Texas police officer Josè Santos. This officer who shot and killed my son is still free, has not been fired and has not been charged. This same Officer Santos was caught on video in 2013, while he was employed by the Galveston Police Department, brutally beating, kicking and pushing a Black man’s head under water. He should have never been hired by La Marque Police Department. My son was a loving, caring, and god-fearing man, who leaves behind two amazing children whom he loved dearly, five-year old Alayah, and three-year old Joshua Jr. This fund is established to cover funeral and burial expenses, mental and grief counseling, lodging and travel for all court proceedings, and to assist our family in the days to come as we continue to seek justice for Joshua. A portion of these funds will also go to the Estate of Joshua Feast for the benefit and care of his two children.
