5 Ways to Take Care of Your Candles

Take the time to care for candles so they can burn longer.

Care for your Candles

Here are five ways to care for your candles:

  1. Trim the wick: Before lighting your candle, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch to prevent excessive smoke and ensure a clean, even burn.

  2. Burn for the recommended time: Allow your candle to burn for the recommended amount of time, usually around 2-4 hours, to prevent tunneling or uneven burning.

  3. Keep away from drafts: Avoid placing your candle in areas with drafts, such as near open windows or doors, as this can cause uneven burning and reduce the scent throw.

  4. Use a snuffer or lid to extinguish: Use a snuffer or lid to extinguish your candle, as blowing it out can cause hot wax to splatter and create a fire hazard.

  5. Store properly: Store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading or melting.

By caring for your candles properly, you can ensure they last longer, burn more evenly, and provide the best possible fragrance experience.
